Angel Blankets and Prayer Shawls

I would like to ask people to knit or crochet either angel blankets or prayer shawls. When our daughter passed, we had both to hold her in and buried her with one of them. Both had been donated to the hospital. It was comforting to see her wrapped in something that someone had been so caring to make. An angel blanket is basically just a knitted or crocheted small blanket and I have included a link to a website that gives instructions on how to make a prayer shawl.

We lost our baby girl on September 28, 2009. She was born at 25 weeks, but was doing amazingly well. On September 28 we received a call saying that she was very sick. Four hours later she had left this world. We want to get the word out on this serious illness, so hopefully one day other families will not have to go through this.
